Integration with readers and compatibility

Sentinel LCD touch controller with intagrated magnetic stripe reader.

The controllers may be integrated with any type of reader such as may be required, including: 

• Magnetic strip (shown here),
• RFID - all kinds (Clock/Data, Wiegand protocol) of RFID readers supported.
• Biometric readers may also be integrated. Depending on requirements these may be integrated, or consisting of a separate, connected unit.

Device structure, connectivity and installation

The connection to the printer can be performed via an internal switch that does not interrupt communication with the printer (such as sending print jobs or communication and control protocols). This means that a Sentinel device controller can be located next to a printer without requiring an additional network outlet.
